Delicia’s journey is rooted in both professional dedication and personal experience. With a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University and a Master of Science in Counseling from National Louis University, she has built a career as a mental health professional, case manager, and QIDP. Before that, she spent six years supporting children with special needs as an educator.

As a mother to a teenage daughter with special needs and a son in college, Delicia understands firsthand the challenges families face — from financial barriers to social isolation. This lived experience inspired her to create Angie’s Solutions, a nonprofit dedicated to offering families a safe, joyful, and inclusive space to connect with others who share similar journeys.

Through free community events like bowling nights, skating outings, pizza nights, and ice cream socials, Delicia is building a foundation of connection and support. Her future plans include back?to?school events, food and coat drives, autism walks, and a scholarship fund to help individuals attend summer camps and park district programs.

Delicia’s long-term vision is simple yet powerful: to see Angie’s Solutions grow each year, expanding its reach and impact so that every family feels supported, valued, and included.
